I appreciate this and have been working a lot with older ancestors which is a bit frustrating and exciting. I have had some specific problems I am trying to resolve and will tell you. I am looking mostly at the Grahams family trree especially nobles. They have descended from people who ended up in Manchester for about 5 generations and prior to that they have relatives who lived at North Esk at Cote farm. Some information I have is family knowledge and so I feel informed by the family who know somethings are true. Elixabeth Graham was my Granny and she was a genealogist in Manchester. Her husband was Frank Graham. David Graham is his 5th (or so) grand father and was at Cote. There are written stories about them. The line from Manchester to Cote is clear from Census, Births, Baptismes, Marriages and Deaths. They were Anglican a lot so Christenings. I am interested in David Graham born 1675 married to Helen Beatty. His father looks to be Jon Graham (Gram) married to Elspeth Watson but others insist on Walter Graham of Gartur married to Marion Graham of Airth (too young) but Jon is in a baptisme record naming David Graham and also Claverhouse is readable. The baby is threatend I believe by the Duchray perhaps who I find now were also Grahams I am sorry for the issue I may have caused but refer to my Dads statements too. I am still seeking answers.

Please delete this imported profile, he has a " joint custody " with the original father of the children as it is now .....might be even more mess on the lines there, but thisis definitely an extra:

Per Peter Stille GG9KT, KEEPER Overseer of Penningby Castle, Ruslagen, SWEDEN

Avice de Copeland de Rumilly, Lady of Harewood

See recent merge here, unsourced incomplete

look, it's not a joke..
We urgently need a (C) that cuts the parents of Agnes de Cock van Weerdenburg, DUP TREE

there is a new user who cloned a line up to 300, ( king Richmir Flavius Richomeres Consul of Rome 384 van Toxandrië (koning der Franken) (van Toxandrië) )
and I didn't say 1300 /!\ i said 300
the line has now been merged and YOU know by WHOM, on the northern countries 1250 or so.
Now that the line has been merged it is a potential bomb of duplication conflicts to resolve ..forever!

*We urgently need a (C) that cuts the parents of Count Welf Van Altdorf, DUP cut point

the second cutting point,
(at least provisional to resolve the high medieval anthology)
could be cutting parents of abandoned MP:
-Rudolf de Cock, Heer van Weerdenburg
____________________
but then also CUT his wife DUP suffix ..but then here we get to the heart of the plague

Yikes! Another example an organized clean up might be good. Too easy to slip in an unlocked side door.

hi PRO Walter Fernando Pagliardini

how come you merged a duplicate profile in progress with a red emblem, and suffix?
your initiative or suggestion of the algorithm?

leftovers, leftovers everywhere :)

-Bernhard (Karolingen)
-Koning Lodewijk (de Vrome) I der Franken, DUP

so they can be useful again soon :D
we will never let the admins get a little bored :*

yes well, Kind USER Andreas Derycke it doesn't work like that.
I'm not here to clean up your deeds, kindly ask for assistance here to (C)s, if you have created/merged new medieval ancient under 1000 lines.

I just noticed that where you went you left conflicts, technically so simple, yet so conspicuously reported graphically in the tree.. that maybe you were just a new user with his first smartphone in hand who said yes yes merge merge go ahead go ahead to all the medieval suggestions of the algorithm..
..it happens, {it's wanted [it's known (changes my opinion:)]}
(It was worth warning you promptly, so that you could self-regulate and/or stop :)

There is a menu to see what conflicts we left behind:

if instead you have created merging well, invented unsourced lines..
..well warm up your fingers and write write write copying and pasting the links to the profiles you've "worked" on here :*

I will delete all the new profiles and connections I have made

I have deleted all profiles I could, the ones that don’t split the tree. The only ones you will have to delete yet are thus: the clone line from Boudewijn IV Graaf van Vlaanderen, DUP up to Pippin the Short, DUP and the relationships of Artemia of Clermont-Ferrant as man of Decimus Rusticus and Mummolin von Soissions as son of Munderic. Lastly the entire profile of Servilla Claudia? should also be deleted. I think that should be all. I apologise once again for my mistakes.

Post Scriptum: the lines were documented actually, in a family history book that I have got somewhere and I did check sources online for the more distant connections, but not being a curator makes it a whole mess and thus indeed better not to meddle with medieval MP accounts.

Well done Andreas Derycke. It's ok to make honest mistakes, when taking responsibility for it so it can be corrected as you have now done. Sometimes you have to wait fora bit for a curator to notice, OR you can directly tag them here -preferrably someone who you have seen working on those specific profiles but writing @ together with the name of the curator and you should see a little list appear on the left lower corner of your comment where you can choose the person you want to tag. Same works with other members obviously. What you can do though if you have good sources, you can add them under the profiles for example in the "About"-section if the profile hasn't been locked or in the actual source-flick that you see above the "About"-section (there are options like "Media", "Revisions", "Sources". Good luck!

Please reverse this merge, it has caused quadruple parentage for the profile:

Private User
Sammanslagningen backad.

John Matson

Please isolate the whole tree beginning from this profile, it's alone floating in space and might entice more people to merge these profiles wrongly to correct ones. I already detached the wrongly attached wife who belongs to a proper tree, so just isolate:

Joachim von Linstow

if any (C) is interested in having some help in cleaning up the huge completely NUB work of @Andreas's ..contact me privately:
Because of wasting time finding the CUT points, writing them, describing them, publishing them, to see them merged for out of spite or ignorance.. Or then seeing the line broken into a thousand remnants abandoned like anti-personnel mines..
..I don't fit in

I don't know to reverse this merge. Sorry.

Livio Scremin Oh my.... I just bumped on the DUPS you had marked... Yes it's quite a few that need reversing.
Erica Howton do you have time to look at what Livio found since nobody seems to notice? See his comments above...

Or maybe Alex Moes ? Do you have time to reverse nerges, Livio above posted what...several need fixing. They start at dutch end but go quite far back

I see curators on the case, Private User If there's anything left over that doesn't get addressed, I could followup.

Curators;

This merge: https://www.geni.com/merge/compare/6000000181041725840?return=match... is for a profile from the 1400's that is at the top of a stick private tree.

Looking further down the tree there are several other tree merge suggestions.

Bernard

Also, the tree was created yesterday.

Very good Erica Howton Just wanted to call out as a backup for Livio. 😊

yes well but not everything is solved above.
remnants to isolate (found so far):
-Bernhard (Karolingen)
-Koning Lodewijk (de Vrome) I der Franken, DUP
__________

CUT wife suffixed DUP of Rudolf de Cock, Heer van Weerdenburg
..this will surgically separate the DUP TREE " Hendrik de Cock van Opijnen, conflictual DUP TREE of @Carl Gustav
but who goes to work there then?
