Why Should I have to cut my family tree because it is more convenient? I need my family tree completed properly.

Its not already there IF it isn't connected to my tree. I need to connected to my tree. Otherwise it shows as not an ancestor when they are. One King shows as a cousin and not a grandparent. Im not connected to my ancient family. You have to understand the lines cross a lot. They married cousins.

STOP DONT MERGE

What are you talking abour? Chatgpt?

I need mg family tree attached or else i am NOT connected

I need the rest of my ancestors documented in my tree.

If i dont merge then I cannot see them in my family tree or know how i am related.

So what am I supposed to do? Literally make duplicates of this very large and extensive family tree???? Because you won't let me merge?

geni is a single world tree shared in multi-administration, it is public you can see it even without having administration, which in any case is conveniently requestable from a button on the profiles.

If you create links so fake as to be ridiculous it becomes vandalism
stop immediately

Re: If i dont merge then I cannot see them in my family tree or know how i am related.

That's really not true.

  • Every profile on Geni you visit will show you how you are connected, in two ways; directly and / or indirectly, and with all the links between you and them. For example, I see: Charlene Rai Bosiak is your 24th cousin once removed. share this path
  • Every profile on Geni has ancestor and descendant reports, which you can also export
  • If you truly wish to assist in administering a profile by contributing sources and help answer questions, you may request to be added a manager. Otherwise, there is no need: they're already in your tree.
  • Every duplicate creates conflicts in geni. Please don't duplicate! If you need more help finding your ancestors, just post what is confusing, and we'll help more.

Hi Charlene Rai Bosiak

This project https://www.geni.com/projects/Historical-Tree-Clean-Up-Please-Park-Unsourced-DUPLICATES-in-the-Historical-Tree-Here%21/37332 gives a good overview of why it is better to not merge in profiles before 1600.

It doesn't mean that you won't be connected to your ancestors / family - it just means that you can be connected to the existing profiles with a lot less work and issues. Ie you get joined in at the point where your branch is not already in the tree rather than duplicating those profiles already in the tree.

from last message of the previews page: https://www.geni.com/discussions/158450?msg=1745490

why Daniel Van den Veene wont be by you a unknown random but legitimate son of Philip III, "the Bold" king of France & his legitimate wife queen!?

(married to another queen who died at 25 I already cut it)

so seeing that, now I'm also a little very worried about this merge:
https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=86828135760

which however is in a remote 1300 area of which I have absolutely no interests or administration

Dimitri Vulis
all isolated for deletion.

From my merge center - https://www.geni.com/search/matches?id=6000000016337817205&src=profile&cmp=btn (John "John Whyte of Farnham" Whyte, of Farnham)
The other side was manually added June 2024. The matches end at geni.com/people/Sir-John-White-II-Fictional/6000000077589583845 vs Sir John White, II
While you are in the White/Whyte family, something looks odd with Sir John Whyte, MP, Lord Mayor of London and Dr. John White, Bishop of Winchester Their dates are too similar.

Thanks Private User !

hello kind admin & follower of Philip I, king of France
need an quick UNDO on him: https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=86828454770

CUT point already found: CUT DUP fantasy parents of: Daniel Van den Veene

(try to have your say here, I really don't know what to do anymore: There are ignored reports for several pages back:)

Livio Scremin
the CUT DUP branches isolated.

very good Private User
since you are ready and kindly available I will make a summary, there are a couple of other twigs cut or left isolated but not already reported for deletion
-King of France Philippe I Roy Capet (from last UNDO)
- Bernhard (Karolingen)
- Koning Lodewijk (de Vrome) I der Franken, DUP

---------
1 CUT: cut parents of Helena Bailleul, /!\
(Both his marriages were childless, and on his death in 1294, he was succeeded by his younger brother Otho.[8][12])

I saw that you have done many others of mine.. Special thanks now I check better..
sorry if I post too much, but I think that leaving them there is a lesser evil that then ends up generating disasters

OK this is delicate, BY the same admin of the connection to be cut above.. who does not write, does not read and does not respond:

CUT parents of Stéphanie, de Nablus ,because:

No no one serious source knows her parents:
Wikipedia believes it has found a couple of illustrious eurpean(+)1st crusaders,
look at the case one is called Robert, name that the new admin put on the old 2011 profile without a name, but with a surname inserted automatically by adding from below,
(I have now correctly transformed it from a toponym into the suffix for her)

if you want to check the French newspaper sources added in spam cascade on her new MOM Marie de Naplouse
I can't, but I can smell something bad from here... and the admin hasn't responded yet

so to sum up his DAD name Robert it's just one of 2 possibilities and that fake surname leads we astray, so PLZ cut out parents, I leave / LEAVING text tagS and explanation on profiles info

How do I get added to the tree without merging? My ancestors are not gettig added in. When I click on them it doesnt show they are an ancestors.

My tree is cut short. How do I get the royal tree added?

Charlene Rai Bosiak

Are you able to add links to the 2 profiles that you believe should be connected but currently aren’t.
And your source for that connection.

Louis IX the Saint, King of France is an ancestor but when i click on the profile, ir only shows him as a cousin of mine. Hes no longer linked to my tree properly. Im related to the royals through many lines because of cousins marrying cousins.

Charlene Rai Bosiak
Are you able to add links (urls) to the connection that is missing.

Ie which of your ancestor should be the child of which royal?

To post a link go to the profile and copy the web address and paste it here.

I need my tree added at: Daniel Van den Veene

How do I add him to my tree if ai cannit merge???

Hi Charlene Rai Bosiak connected you are connected:

so straight to the point that it even raises some doubts about your all white unsourced 2022s:
*Maria Van Gyseghem
**Petrus Van Gyseghem = /!\ merge conflict Petrina (Petronella) Van Gyseghem

you just need a little learning about this phenomenal Geni single world tree, and leave as much info as possible on the new connective profiles.. :)
[the medieval kings of France and beyond, I would say that they have been fine for several years.. at most there is a need to defend them from thousands of their descendants on the first day online :]
