Hi. That only shows my inlaw relationship to him. He is also actually my Great-Grandfather as well (direct line). I'm related to these royals in more ways than one because of continual cousins marrying down the generations. Some of them I descend from 4 or more od their children.
So im not 100% connected to him. My like is cut off at: Daniel van den veene
Geni shows the shortest path - if there are many interconnecting pathways it might be showing you a shorter blood path than the direct path
You might need to walk the path - ie start at your profile, click on your parent, then your grandpa to rent and so on up the line.
At some point you will either come to the profile or you will come to a profile that either has no parents or a different parent than you believe is correct. When you get to that - copy the website address (the url) here and tell us what you think is wrong. Then we will all be looking at the same profile.
Have you considered that your private tree is full of errors / mistake / mystification /pious wishes?
the most striking example that has been going on all day is precisely:
Daniel Van den Veene
who and what makes you think he is the son of that king of France!? o.O
you understand that everything is known about these calibers, stories, tales and escapades.. imagine if a legitimate child escaped..
but don't worry, we see them often here, not of this caliber.. but you're in good company :D
Daniel Van den Veene Born in 1276 cannot be the son of Louis IX the Saint, King of France as he died in 1270
Im stuck on Daniel. My Ancestory says this. Maybe I have him attached to the wrong King. Help me.

Here is his daughter, my ancestor. Maybe her Dad (Daniel) is written down wrong? Where does she belong under the tree?

lesson #2
you can't use the automatic algorithm up in the middle ages, it's not meant for those centuries.
Charlene Rai Bosiak Medieval research is a very specialised field.
A significant amount of internet trees are incorrect and cannot be relied on when going back this far.
Charlene Rai Bosiak you say you'll wait until the weekend to check with your PC, but in the meantime add other medieval profiles from 1200 from your cell phone:
Gosuin Van den Veene
you can't do that here,
just not after the sources and methods and instruments you just said you are using /!\
---------------
Isabella van Venne it's a profile cited at least by Wiki NL
I added the cut and paste with text tags yesterday..
above your comments what Chatgpt says (shivers T.T)
..I still haven't figured out who knows her father name: Daniel,
we've painlessly cut out the grandfather king of France and all the huge duplicated entourage,
which now you already have ready a grandfather -_- don't pull the rope too hard
For sure I have Royal roots because it was in the family history stories and I have 't kint Roodenbeke ancestors. This is my 13th Grandfather. 'T kint Roodenbeke is a bourgeois family from Brussels, Belgium. My family tree is difficult because of many 2nd, 3rd and double 2nd cousins marrying. The bourgeois all married each other. Then it goes further back and its hundreds and hundreds of Royals. I cannot keep track of it all or rmemorize them all. There are too many.
Arnoldus ‘t Kint van Roodenbeke
It says he's my 13th Grandfather, but it also gives me the in-law relationship. But many of those in-laws are also blood relatives and direct ancestors. Those families were nobles because of Royal ancestry. It makes the tree confusing to follow. That time period (1500s) my ancestors were from Flanders, Belgium area as Knights and Lords. I cannot count how many, just too many. They all married each other. Right down to my Great-Grandparents on that side who are 2nd cousins. So the Royal ancestors are numerous from many family lines and they're all related to each other in some way.
Charlene Rai Bosiak — it would be great to move this discussion out of this thread, since we use it to post medieval duplicates and it’s now gone far afield.
I’m a medievalist, and can help explain how medieval sources work and the like — if you message me privately using the Geni message function I’ll be glad to explain things.
