Emily Kent Marget; Erica Howton

Emily/Erica--

Everything I have on him came from Family Search (notes in the about section with link). According to Family Search he married twice, both of whom were named Nancy but different last names. I searched for a FindAGrave record for him and found nothing...I think because I have limited information on him .

Pvt Bedford Parker Durham, Sr

Did some more work on the tree. See updated Pvt Bedford Parker Durham, Sr

Lydia Mathewson already has two husbands with the same name, that aren't the same, and this one brings in a 3rd one with the same name,

This FS tree has different dates for one of the existing husbands, but the parents match. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/G4W2-S4H

According to this FS tree, the parents are her husband's parents, not her parents.

I don't think they should be merged, because the daughter on the right doesn't seem to be a daughter of this Richard Waterman (see sources I added in his bio).

I don't know if there was an incorrect merge, data was changed, or there is some other error within the line. I did notice in my research that it's one of those families where the names repeat a lot, especially Resolved and Richard, so maybe there is a mixup.

I found Richard with multiple parents, and cut off Resolved, based on my research.

These 2 profiles have enough to get someone into a real Mess, if not careful. One is an MP & both are Colonial profiles.

Private User - Although Virginia is not my area of expertise, is there evidence that Talmon Harbour had two wives?

This names the 2 wives in question. Hope it helps. BTW, most of these are mostly new to me as well. ;-)Thanks for checking on this one.

Private User & Emily Kent Marget

I see no evidence supporting Mary Strange as a wife of Talmon Harbour

Added some more biographical details to profiles.

Private User - data conflicts suggest there may have been bad merges on Richard Waterman, II

I'm going to unmerge / remerge, I think.

Could soomeone please be so kind as to remove Robert & Evaline Elick as parents of Rev. Woody Franklin Fitzgerald on following profile?

Correct, Sarah Dunham (born 10 October 1739) is the daughter and Sarah Dunham was her sister in law (wife of Solomon Dunham).

Trees had picked up daughter's birth date and husband's death date. In reality, we don't know either of those for Sarah Hill.

I was just wondering if we had stats on how many edits we’ve done (collectively) through / because of this project.

Frankly, it’s the most successful cleanup effort I’ve seen on geni.

Thank you all so much for contributing this year. May 2025 see less edits because we fixed it already!

Daniel Mathewson, son of John Mathewson & Deliverance Malavery, married 1) Lydia Edmunds 2) Meribah Whipple.

This is annoying.

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Edmonds-2776 shows Lydia Mathewson as married to the Daniel Mathewson who married her sister Amy "Ann" Edmonds in 1738.

And Lydia seems to have a Geni sister Lydia Westcott

Need more sources.

This could introduce the 2 names of Harbour & Strange:

Yes, Pvt. Noah Harbour son of Talmon, married Judith Harbour

So not an additional wife of his father Talmon

Erica Howton,

Since I recently discovered or rediscovered the Pvt Noah Harbour, son of Talmon connection; I couldn't help but be curious to see if there was more that that particular family member name in common, that might have spawned the 2nd wife's name on the Wikitree posting in question..

IN this case, it turned out to be not so. The only posting that I found for the presence of/ or Name Mentioned of Judith Harbour, was the one already discussed.

I personally think that the origin of that entry had to belong to the Wikitree author & only they can clarify that issue, right? LOL. :-)

In my opinion, there was only 1 wife for him & Judith Harbour was a mistaken entry with No apparent connection to Talmon.

The only nagging question on my mind is who exactly was Judith Harbour & since her Name keeps coming up, just where does she belong in the Tree of Life?

Alas, always a mystery or two in this business, right? Thanks for being so thorough. I'll get back to you when & if I resolve the Judith Harbour mystery/issue.

Have a wonderful day!

Judith Strange is listed as wife of Noah Harbour by the DAR

@Elizabweth Chappell.
I looked at the update re: Elizabeth Chappell, and noticed that she is now listed as "Elizabweth". When I tried to correct the spelling, I was unable to do so, because it is locked. Could someone fix this?
She is my 5th Great-Grandmother. Her family has interesting history, including a beautiful legend, which I would like to see confirmed as true, not denied, as it is now.
Lucinda Campbell Russell (Batte).

Lucinda Campbell Russell - Elizabeth Chappell has been fixed and re-locked.
(FYI - The URL always works when referencing a profile. The "@" mechanism does not always work.)

Thank you and thank goodness!

They're the same, but husbands don't match. Mid-1600s, Mass.

Private User - I rejected the match.
They are different. The husbands are what told me - one in Virginia; the other in Massachusetts.
