I'm going to pass on the Sam Lee problem. It's still whizzing over my head.

LEE: Zachariah Lee was born about 1735, and was reported to
have been killed by Tories soon after the Revolutionary War. He
married Lucy Farmer, a daughter of Isaac Farmer, Sr. Their known
children were Jesse, Isaac, Jacob (married Cynthia Floyd), Samuel,
and a daughter who married Henry Pope. Their son Samuel Lee
was born about 1775-80, and moved from Robeson Co, NC, to
Wayne Co, Mississippi. It is believed he married first Sarah Shay
(or Slay) and married second Patsy Overstreet ?. His children
married into the Overstreets of Wayne Co, MS. Could they have
known of and been related to the Overstreets back in Robeson Co,
NC.
Joseph Allen Wallen is his own son Joseph Allen Wallen but he has Y DNA attached.
Please see?
DAR profile. I have added some info to the profile you curate, Erica Howton
TIA
Problems alert, lol. Recent import seems to be spliced in rather haphazardly. Supposedly my 11th g-grandparent, but that's quite doubtful since the link is through a child she had at too young of an age. Also no sources given for proof.

We have a situation wherein a woman with the maiden name "Thomas" has been connected as daughter to a Mr. Jones. Jones has a separate issue stemming from a bad merge.
Private User - The merge is in the process of being reversed.
From what I can see, just looking at Richard - there were two people named Richard. The parents had very different names.
Now to figure out the correct parents for Arthur Jones, III
Thank you, Emily. Also Sarah Jones doesn't belong in the family group with 'daughter' Joane English because they're all Virginia whilst she is Massachusetts.
Private User - I think Elizabeth Sarah Thomas is supposed to be the wife of Richard Jones based on the children.
But I will not merge or connect without reputable sources.
I am sending the manager a message about duplicates in Geni.
John Pinnell has some issues with his tree
His wife is Rachel Pinnell
He is the son of Thomas Pannell, V - curated by Faustine Darsey on partial hiatus
He has
His son William R. Pinnell could also benefit from a review - children born 8 years before he married, children born in different states, children born when his wife was only 13
Thanks
Leanne
Thanks Faustine Darsey on partial hiatus
Sorry I can't help on these profiles - It would take me hours to find sources that you can probably locate in minutes.
Private User DAR said that tree was not credible & I basically tore it apart. Thanks for letting me know about it.
Ann is complete.
Can someone take a look at Ben's curated profile, please?
Cross posting here James Rice
Erica Howton - Rees John William [aka Rees Jones] is a MP you curated, and I'm wondering about his name.
He's from Wales, and I have a rudimentary understanding of the use of "ap", but does he have too many, or are they in the wrong place?
Yes, that looked weird.
Some Welsh used patronyms well into the modern era, but the ones who emigrated to the USA seem to have gone through several name iterations and stylings.
So he would have been born with no surname, and use a patronym:
John ap John
Some Welsh names go further back:
John ap John ap William
He acquired several names he was known by in America:
I've re-organized the names on Geni so they look a bit less awkward, hopefully.
Capt. John Pannill had been conflated with John Pinnell DAR records have helped finish off the separation.
Capt. John Pannill Still has children born when he was 14
Not my area but in Australia it would be normal for a girl to be that age to have a child but fathers tended to be older.
Is this, William Snow, Sr. , who you are talking about?
Erica Howton , and Hatte Rubenstein Blejer , I know nothing of a brother named Nicholas. Russell? Do you have a source for that? That would help.
"Not the child of Constance (Hopkins) Snow, "Mayflower" Passenger. This is the Wm Snow who married Rebecca Brown and had Hannah and Rebecca as above The girls married Rickard brothers. No one has documentation for his age or origins. Those 2 girls are daughters of Wm Snow and Rebecca Brown, whose father was on Mayflower."
There's an old tradition that he was a son of a Nicholas Snow in England, unproven. I don't know that family or how it's been debunked.
Hi - John Warner of Hadley and surrounding profiles look like they've been involved in a hit-and-run merge. Lots of mastered profiles which has prevented major carnage but looks like cleanup or unmerging definitely in order.
Karl David Wright - I'm taking a look through the "Revisions" to see when the two separate profiles were mis-merged.
Unfortunately, the curator for the profile is no longer active.
