I'm going to pass on the Sam Lee problem. It's still whizzing over my head.

Private User - The merge is in the process of being reversed.
From what I can see, just looking at Richard - there were two people named Richard. The parents had very different names.
Now to figure out the correct parents for Arthur Jones, III

Private User - I think Elizabeth Sarah Thomas is supposed to be the wife of Richard Jones based on the children.
But I will not merge or connect without reputable sources.

I am sending the manager a message about duplicates in Geni.

John Pinnell has some issues with his tree
His wife is Rachel Pinnell

He is the son of Thomas Pannell, V - curated by Faustine Darsey on partial hiatus

He has

• children born when he was only 11 (his wife was only 6)
• a marriage and 4 children born after he died.
• 2 children called George alive at the same time
• children born over a 42 year span with the same wife.

His son William R. Pinnell could also benefit from a review - children born 8 years before he married, children born in different states, children born when his wife was only 13

Sorry I can't help on these profiles - It would take me hours to find sources that you can probably locate in minutes.

Private User DAR said that tree was not credible & I basically tore it apart. Thanks for letting me know about it.

Also, I looked it up. Culpeper County is VA, not KY. I will change those.

Yes, that looked weird.

Some Welsh used patronyms well into the modern era, but the ones who emigrated to the USA seem to have gone through several name iterations and stylings.

So he would have been born with no surname, and use a patronym:

John ap John

Some Welsh names go further back:

John ap John ap William

He acquired several names he was known by in America:

• Rees John William
• Rees Jones

I've re-organized the names on Geni so they look a bit less awkward, hopefully.

John Pinnell and William R. Pinnell
still have issues

Capt. John Pannill had been conflated with John Pinnell DAR records have helped finish off the separation.

Capt. John Pannill Still has children born when he was 14

Not my area but in Australia it would be normal for a girl to be that age to have a child but fathers tended to be older.

I have added sources to Susan W. Banks that give her dob being 12 years later

Updated dates for Susan Pannill Banks.

Erica Howton , and Hatte Rubenstein Blejer , I know nothing of a brother named Nicholas. Russell? Do you have a source for that? That would help.

No one has documentation for his age or origins. Those 2 girls are daughters of Wm Snow and Rebecca Brown, whose father was on Mayflower."

There's an old tradition that he was a son of a Nicholas Snow in England, unproven. I don't know that family or how it's been debunked.
