Hi Emily Kent Marget!

Yes, I am very much aware of the Washington /Warner connection. Thanks for the heads-up.

My tree is vast & my family members have been in America for such a long length of time (back when everybody here as fellow colonists knew who everybody living here was) lol .

Would it not be funny to share a cup of tea with some of the livelier members of our families & listen to their opinions & share the gossip of the day? LOL!!! :-)

Private User - My maternal tree is heavily laden with Colonial people. My grandfather is related to both the Brewsters (Pilgrims) and the Washingtons. His wife traces back to Essex County, Massachusetts.
It would be great to talk to any of them!

I think this is a gedcom inported line that needs isolating. Too many to merge into the tree.

DUP TREE DO NOT MERGE 15.3 Benjamin Lewis Harrelson, Sen

A recent merge by "the Geni team" gave daughter Sarah (Hinnant) Faulk two mothers.

Also I didn't see a wife named "Edith" listed on his profile's overview.

Sarah Faulk

Elizabeth (Calvert) Calvert is locked to an unknown mistress, but she's not locked to her actual husband.

Benedict Swingate Calvert had his mother changed to the mistress, which is not what his bio says.

Many other parent changes in Elizabeth's revision list. Relationships should be locked.

Susanne Floyd - isolated dups.

Private User - found an old bad merge and redid around John Hinnant, II & Mary Hinnant

Sorry, I should have written Benedict Swingate Calvert was the son of Charles Calvert, 5th Baron Baltimore & perhaps Melusina von der Schulenburg, Countess of Walsingham His mother in law Rebecca Calvert was showing the wrong parents. She was the only child & heiress of John Gerard a Maryland merchant. And her fortune helped the probably illegitimate son become one of the wealthiest men of his time & place.

William Champlin is not the son of

Capt. Christopher Champlin, Jr. and Elizabeth Champlin

I *think* people might be confusing with a generation prior or another family named Champlain or Champlin who also lived in Westerly. (Both possible for sons named William born around same date.)

Added note to profile for William Champlin Capt. Christopher Champlin, Jr. did not have a son William Champlin.

Detached.

Thank you,

Fields are locked below, Middle name was Rich, added sources but I am not able to update to reflect.(Understand the reason for locking, but since she was my grandmother would like to update if possible. Thank you!)

Thankful Rich Bangs

Please see Oldham Hightower, Sr. who seems to have been effected by a Gedcom.
I HATE those things.
John Oldham Hightower

Immediate Family:

Son of Austin Augustine Hightower and Martha Jane Hightower (Oldham)
Husband of Sarah Hightower (Dodson); Sarah "Sally" Jane Hightower (Parker) and Sarah Hightower (Dodson)

I feel strongly about needing sourced middle names for people born before the revolutionary war. There were really few records for them. Instead, we have pedigrees (and computer records) that fudged them; or genealogists mis reading records; or ambiguous records.

Thankful Rich Bangs born 1763 should have a primary source or reference in a Mayflower Quarterly article (etc.). Cannot we find that and put her mother's maiden name of Rich in the AKA field in the meantime?

OK Private User I found that her marriage vital record compilation names her "Thankful Rich Lombard," so done.

Also apologies to Karrie - I didn't look at the Source tab. So sorry! Beautifully done. I'm just so used to writing biographies in the "about," which should not be a valid excuse.

Making progress.

Thank you so much, Erica Howton
I had messages a collaborator but she had family obligations and in my mind living family always trumps genealogy lol so thank You! Nice work! The About for lunch says maybe half Cherokee so that always seems to bog down a profile
