I decided to start the topic about numerous Folmars of Metz. It seems the data is not consistent with Medlands. I updated his son's "number" - Folmar von Metz, VIII, Graf von Metz but please feel free to undo it if it's wrong.

According to Medlands, Folmar VII de Metz, comte de Metz was in fact Folmar VII. The name of Folmar VII's wife remains unknown (not NN , she will reappear later).
Then, Folmar VII's parents would be Folmar VI and SUANEHILDE.
And it goes like this... I decided to start a new topic because I wouldn't like to make any changes myself, especially that we're dealing with MPs.
