William Grey, Knight of Howick
A discussion was started about it on the profile in 2019 but nothing was done. It's unlikely that William Junior's father was named Thomas instead of William. Thomas's location looks wrong too. No location is given for him, but his half-siblings were all from Northumberland. William Junior spent his whole life in Harrow-on-the-Hill in Greater London (Middlesex), which is about 300 miles away.
The notes on William Gray's Wikitree profile: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Gray-6005
"William Gray had been shown with parents Thomas Gray and Elizabeth Martyr but this seems doubtful based on their ages: Thomas is shown with a birth year of 1533, Elizabeth is listed with a birth year of 1527. They apparently married in 1554 per Thomas' profile. It is quite possible that one of Thomas and Elizabeth's sons was actually the father of William Gray.
In the profile for Thomas Gray, it shows his son marrying Mary Button in 1587, with a source of "Dionis backchurch parish records" (which hasn't been reviewed yet to confirm). A William Gray did marry Mary Button in 1587, and the marriage was recorded in the registers of the St. Mary's Church, Harrow-on-the-Hill, England, in 1587. Due to the birth-date of this William, the marriage record cannot be for him. Mary Button has been detached as his spouse as there is no evidence to support it."
Thomas Grey, supposedly the father of William, is listed on Geni as the son of Sir Thomas Grey, MP. The entry for Sir Thomas Grey in the Visitation of the North, page 134, does not list a son named Thomas. https://www.wikitree.com/photo/png/Grey-420
