I have just undone an old merge which was the Sv/Prog being merged into his son - lots of subsequent changes which may complicate things - I will take a closer look now and see what needs doing. Bear with me!

That was the merge I undid. I have removed the incorrect marriage to Johanna Pieternella Roelofse, SM that was left behind after the merge was undone.

I notice Geni has these parents with a daughter Maria Susanna Barnard with same dates!?

Is that where all the confusion might have arisen?

Sara Maria *1784 is probably the one who married Marthinus Christoffel Botha and her sister Maria Susanna Barnard *1782 married Christiaan Lourens Roelofse.

Definitely something puzzling here.

Not likeky to be MC Botha born 1782 as he was allready a widower in 1802 with this marriage more likely to be MC Botha born 1769

I have been trying to sort out the MC Bothas and Sara Maria Barnards partnerships out - such a mess in SAG - I will look again tomorrow but am sure there is still lots wrong. Any help would be appreciated. I am cross-eyed!!

Also a mess on the de Klerks AGAIN June. I started yesterday but am still ill in bed, but are allowed out of bed tomorrow. At least the rain stopped and the terrible gold as well so I am sure the sinus infection will leave now. Still one day of medicine.
