The record states that Jacob was born in Vienna.
According to Gershon Wolf (1864) "Die Juden in der Leopoldstadt" there were only 12 Jewish families living in Vienna in the 1570s so I feel that if he was born in Vienna it would be or highly significant or statistically unlikely.
Is there any evidence for this? Or is this simply conjecture based on the fact he is buried in Vienna?
