About Elizabeth Parker
First wife: The name Elizabeth BAILY for Dr. Richard PARKER’s first wife is only based on family tradition, with no proof available. It is believed that she was the mother of Richard PARKER, Chirurgeon’s son Richard PARKER II. Richard [SIC: Rowland] Chirurgeons’s brother calls Richard’s wife “a Londoner,” but it is not known if this 1673 document refers to Richard’s first wife or second wife. Undocumented sources state that Elizabeth was the daughter of Captain Richard BAILY of London and Accomac County, Virginia Colony. Capt. BAILY apparently had a son John, a planter of Virginia Colony, with lands on Hogs Island, father of an only daughter, Mary (b. 26 Oct 1626, Virginia Colony) who married Randall HOLT.
