Collander, Erik Gustaf

Erik Gustaf Collander, s. 19.4.1884, Helsingistä. Hänen isänsä oli tohtori Paul Collander. Erik Collander oli ammatiltaan insinööri ja hän työskenteli teknillisenä johtajana suuressa paperitehtaassa lähellä Helsinkiä. Collander lähti Suomesta 1.4.1912 ja hän oli matkalla Amerikkaan lomailemaan ja opiskelemaan. Ohiolaisen sanomalehden mukaan hänen tarkoituksenaan oli yllättää serkkunsa tohtori Paul J. Collander, joka asui Ohion Ashtabulassa. Collander nousi Titaniciin Southamptonissa ja matkusti toisessa luokassa.

Erik Collander hukkui, eikä hänen ruumistaan löydetty tai tunnistettu.
