of Worms. From 1600 to 1612 Elijahu was Rabbi of Fulda and then he became Rabbi of

Hanau. In 1629 he moved to Worms, where Blumelin died on 6 November 1630, the

mother of his only son Joseph (Josel), husband of Kela, who was born at Hanau.

R. Elijahu “Baal Schem“ married Blumelin, the daughter of R. Zangwill of Worms. From 1600 to 1612 Elijahu was Rabbi of Fulda and then he became Rabbi of

Hanau. In 1629 he moved to Worms, where Blumelin died on 6 November 1630, the

mother of his only son Joseph (Josel), husband of Kela, who was born at Hanau.
