I am making an Android client (github.com/Sternbach-Software/GeniForAndroid). What would be the best way to initially populate their tree?
On the one hand, importing a GEDCOM would be the simplest. On the other hand, it would require choosing between blood tree, forest tree, etc., and it would also defeat the purpose of being fed by the API. Maybe start with the GEDCOM, and fetch leaves of the tree as the user requests them? |
