 After reading the documentation for the JavaScipt SDK, it would seem that an actual user of Geni would have to login to authenticate…

1. Is this true? I would like to build an application that authenticates (website separate from Geni - not sure if you'd call that a web or desktop) but doesn't force a user to have to login with an individual account.

2. This application would pass a surname to Geni (provided by the user) and look-up their geographical origins, is this possible? The full results are used on the backend only.
