There seems to be a problem with Susannah's birth date--1725. George All Sizemore and Agnes Shepherd are listed as her parents--but were both born circa 1755--which is 30 years after she was born. I can find no mention of adoption, or any other circumstance which would allow this arrangement. Can someone please help me to un-scramble this???

I believe that she is s Priber (daughter of Christian Gotleib Priber and a cherokee) not Davis. That may be why the dates don't match.

Susannah was full blood Cherokee born in the Cherokee nation of North Carolina.
The source of the following genealogy is not known.but it was copied from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia in an article by Lloyd Taylor. In 1748 Chief Red Bird married Susannah Caroline "Cherokee Maid" Sizemore (1725–1760), a household member of George Sizemore and Agnes Shepherd Sizemore. Chief Red Bird and Susan moved from South Carolina to Kentucky. He was the first settler on Wallins Creek, Kentucky.
