I've seen many discussions online over the years about this topic, and wonder if anyone has found any original source documents that would either prove or disprove this possible connection?

Carol I haven't seen any source documents but I don't believe they are from the same Ball family, at least on the American side, and from looking at the Moses Ball background. I haven't tracked Balls in England. Have you seen anything on that?

Sorry to be so late answering, Erica, but no I haven't seen anything on the Balls in England. I think my late mother-in-law had a book about the Balls of Virginia, but don't remember if it had any info. from overseas or not.
