John Hatche is my 14th (!!) great-grandfather on my mother's side--I am a direct descendant of his son Thomas. I'm not sure which of my distant cousins took the trouble to place the copy of John's will here, but I want you to know how grateful I am!! It's fascinating to read, it almost gives you a peek into the world and the beliefs of these people who lived during the Middle Ages in England. I love history, I am a devoted Anglophile (altho proud to be American!), and I love genealogy, and this combines all three! I know these old records are often extremely difficult to read, so I was excited to find such an old will that doesn't require a magnifying glass and an interpreter, lol! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! :-)
