which I would post, but Geni doesn't seem to allow the kind of "soft" line breaks for anything of a poetic nature.

So here's a link to the lyrics: http://www.calonsong.org/CalontirSongs/ravenbanner.htm

I can't find a decent link to an mp3 file and won't inflict an indecent one on you. :-(

Haven't seen a good version, but I didn't look for very long.

The "King of the Irish" mentioned is of course Brian Boru, and the story comes straight out of Njal's Saga.

One thing you have to watch out for is that there's a lot of completely unrelated stuff on Youtube under the same title, and some of it is pretty nasty.

This is probably the best you're going to find: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph4To4YVuDE

I would have preferred more "attack" and a harder-driven rhythm, but at least he's more or less on key. (As I well know, that song has a wicked range and a really broad jump from the first to the second half of each verse.)

Ohhh, so great. Make sure you put the link onto his profile as well, Maven. That way everyone else can be delighted too.
