Emoine Multon (Le Boteler) - Parentage issues

Also there may be a issue with the connected husband Sir Thomas Multon, Kt., I am not sure of his parentage and have placed in the 'About' section of the son Sir Thomas Multon, 1st Baron Multon of Gilsland what informaton I could find in the limited time I have.

I focused on one line of le Boteler, not this one, but if I get time I can take a look.

I did some cleanup, following my notes. Someone else might disagree.

Okay, I will leave this with a few questions. Something seems off.

Was Thomas Multon (d. February 12, 1295) husband of both of Emoine de Verdon and Isabel Unknown? What happened to Emoine le Boteler, was that an error, she was listed as the dau. of Sir John le Boteler in http://our-royal-titled-noble-and-commoner-ancestors.com/p351.htm#i...

Was Thomas Multon (d. February 8, 1321) married to both Eleanor de Burgh and Margaret de Mauley? I have seen both wives but not listed together as wives of Thomas Multon, and I have seen references that list each wife as the mother of a dau. Margaret (m. Ralph Dacre) .

Bad sources make for bad results. MedLands sorts him out as the son of the thrice-married Thomas Multon of Egremont, double first cousin of Thomas de Lucy (who also had a son Thomas, second cousin to this one).

THIS Thomas married an Emoine (Edmunda) "le Botillier", but no evidence is provided to show that she belonged to the Butler/Verdun family of Ireland. And they both died youmg, leaving Thomas (III) de Multon as "Lord Multon of Egremont" (NOT Baron de Lucy - that was his cousin).

THOMAS de Multon (21 Feb 1276-[May 1321/8 Feb 1322]). A writ dated 22 Aug "15 Edw I", after the death of "Thomas de Multon the younger", names "Thomas his son aged 11 on Thursday in the first week of Lent in the same year is his next heir"[1629]. He was summoned to Parliament in 1299 whereby he is held to have become Lord Multon of Egremont. m (St Peter’s Priory, Ipswich 3 Jan 1297) ELEANOR de Burgh, daughter of RICHARD de Burgh Earl of Ulster & his wife Margaret de Burgh of Lanvalley.
