I have requested a un-merge, seems John Gordon 2nd of Auchleuchries husband of Margaret Forbes, of Pitsligo , son of John Gordon & Elizabeth Abernethy, has been merged with Sir John Gordon of Lochinvar and Kenmure husband of Annabella Boyd of Kilmarnock & Elizabeth Lindsay , son of William Gordon of Stitchill, 1st of Lochinvar .
I doubt that the two Joan Stewart's listed as his mother were married to William Gordon or James Gordon. For sure Joan of Scotland, Countess of Morton was not married to James Gordon nor had a child by him.
The un-merge is complete and John Gordon 2nd of Auchleuchries has been corrected.
He was the son of Elizabeth Abernathy & John Gordon, married to only Margaret Forbes.
