A simple summary of the variants for the Greek text of Luke 3:33 is found in footnote #77 of http://classic.net.bible.org/bible.php?book=Luk&chapter=3#n77, which says,

" The number and order of the first few names in this verse varies greatly in the mss. The variants which are most likely to be original based upon external evidence are Amminadab, Aram (A D 33 565 [1424] pm lat); Amminadab, Aram, Joram (K Δ Ψ 700 2542 pm); Adam, Admin, Arni (Ì4vid א* 1241 pc sa); and Amminadab, Admin, Arni (א2 L X [Γ] Ë13 pc). Deciding between these variants is quite difficult. The reading “Amminadab, Aram” is the strongest externally since it is represented by Alexandrian, Western, and Byzantine witnesses, although it is significantly weaker internally because it disrupts the artistic balance of the number of generations and their groups that three names would preserve (see TCGNT 113, fn. 1 for discussion). In this case, the subtle intrinsic arguments that would most likely be overlooked by scribes argues for the reading “Amminadab, Admin, Arni,” although a decision is quite difficult because of the lack of strong external support."

The simple conclusion is that "Admin" could be correct, but it's hard to say.

The original Hebrew text, Shemot 6:23 from which those translations derive, reads "Aminadab".

23 And Aaron took him Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, to wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

Luke can hardly be considered a primary source, and due to his conflicts with Matthew, (who was earlier than Luke), can hardly be considered reliable. And when one is desirous of historical accuracy, the poetics of one version over another are not usually relevant. What does Tanakh say? Finally, I should like to say, whatever the original source, whether divine inspiration or divine Dictaphone, blessed is the copyist without typographical errors, for Adonai has physically guided his hands and eyes, and those of his disciples sæculi et sæculorum, לעולם ועד.

Amminadab is found in the Bible in more places than Luke 3:33. In every book of the Bible where he is found It says that he is the son of Ram. Such as: Ruth 4:19, and RAM begat Amminadab. And 1 Cronicles 2:10 and Ram begat Amminadab who begat Nahshon. Also in the New Testament, MATTHEW 1: 4 and Aram begat Aminadab. In Luke 3: 33 It says "Aminadab which was the son of Aram or (RAM) I have reviewed 25 different Bible translations including the Hebrew,Aramatic, King James, to name a few. The King James version is the source of these verses, but they all say the same. If we are going to go with tradition then we need to go with the oldest tradition from the source that was left for us to use and not from what someone just thinks. Tradition! Tradition comes from history not what someone thinks. When we change what GOD left us than what is the sence of even worring about our past. Everytime someone changes something it changes everthing.
