Monday, August 26 is the 35th anniversary of the papal election of Pope John Paul I. Can anyone help grow his tree?

Hello Ashley, I think Jason already did a lot of work on the ancestors of John Paul I. Looking down his line, I don't see particular hooks to drill further. He was of very modest origins - so I don't see the usual links into local patricians or aristocrats. I'm afraid that, in Italy, we don't have enough "critical mass" for providing the hooks. Hopefully over time? Of course, you could try and see if anyone on our Italian user portal can help... http://www.geni.com/projects/Portale-italiano/8261

This was posted in the Italian portal. :) Thank you for your input! It will be great when the day comes that Italian genealogy gets easier to do.
