This John Chase, of Newbury (1654- 1739) could not have been the son of Thomas Chase who died 1652. I've disconnected - I don't know where he belongs.
Aside from that I think his family is in good shape - please double check

Thomas Chase m. Elizabeth Philbrook, children of Thomas and Mary Chase (I think this must be a typo instead of Elizabeth) James Chase b.1649 m. Elizabeth Green, Sept. 2, 1675.
Correct & James b 1649 m Elizabeth Green is all good
But this other James Chase b 1654 m Lydia Challis?
Internet trees have him as son of Thomas Chase d 1652, which is impossible
If we don't know his parents we should add a parents unknown note & perhaps profile so he doesn't join himself to the wrong parents again
Yes, let's find a way to add info to their Display Names or Curator Notes that helps people understand which is which.
This is quite a mess, cleaning up all these muddled trees, but I'm feeling very hopeful that, in the end, the Big Tree is going to be the better for it. Think how long it would have taken us to get around to straightening all this out if the Disaster of July 28 hadn't happened! ;-)
Lydia Challis, from what I gather, is married to John Chase, not James.
Again, more websites, no documents/sources of info:

husband John Chase hmm.. slight problem here.. site says James Chase
Jonathan Chase
Elizabeth Chase
Elihu Chase
John Chase [EWC Anc when ever this is shown on the roots web page the data is most accurate i have found the other siblings usally have empty data so more research is needed.. could do not merge be hannah? as seen bellow?
Hannah Chase
data on geni says Father of Jonathan Chase; Elihu Chase; Elizabeth Russell; James (Died Young) Chase; Hannah Fuller; do not merge and John Chase
(how to diffrenate from father of same name hmm.. age old question no easy answer with out reiventing the wheel geni handles it well though.
john chase John Chase, III ok..
going to take a break here and come back later.. so far so good..
Erica Howton and others part 2 ok wait.. about John Chase I see a hannah fuller there.. i'm confused.. geni lists john as her brother.. yet the website lists her as a daugther of john chase and Abigail.. hmm..
anyway as the website has no info on this no way to verify..
so moving on.. will look at that later.. also see two children listed as half siblings.. could that be because the wife remaired after his death? to me kids here Lydia Chase
and here Elizabeth Carr need to be looked at.. unless the son adpoted his fathers kids after the dad died those shouldn't be listed right?
