Dear all,

My name is Barbara White I am picking up on some research i started a few years ago.

My grandfather has always told me we are related to the Peregrine White the first child born in the Harbor while still aboard the mayflower.

His father William White was a signer of the Mayflower Pact before he died in the first winter. His wife went on to Marry Edward Winslow.

My lineage is clear me up to the Peregrine White that married Mary Howland I am desperately looking for information on his parents...but would like to confirm what i have is correct relation to the Howland family in case any of you have come across any information.

Peregrine White married Mary Howland in Middleborough Massachusetts on May 3, 1770 (engagement in Freetown where White seems to be from either that or Dartmouth is mentioned too)

Mary Howland is the daughter of Malachi Howland (married Middle borough 1743)

Malachi is the son of Joshua Howland born 1685 Freetown, MA

Joshua Howland was born in Freetown in 1685 he marries Elizabeth 1709

Samuel Howland is Joshua's father born Duxbury in 1633

Henry Howland Junior born 1604 in England arrives at Plymouth on Anne (?) to join his brother John Howland also a signer of the pact with William White.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I am a descendant of both John Howland (Mayflower) and his brother Henry Howland.
Are you looking for Howland info or Peregrine White info?

Geni has Samuel Howland, of Freetown born in 1646

Samuel Howland, of Freetown born 1711

Other than that, everything seems to match what you've listed, Barbara. If I understand correctly, you want information on the parents of Peregrine White? Here is the profile for his father, Paul White and his mother, Elizabeth Curtis . It looks like they both need a lot of work, but I hope it helps!
