Where is the citation she was executed by Saladin at the Battle of the Horns of Hattin?? I have never read this. Thank you.

Her husbund - Renaud - was executed in the II Cruzade:

Her husband was executed, but I also cannot find where she was executed. The battle of Hattin was in 1187 well after her reported death of 1164 or 1163 per Wikipedia.

Exactly, to the comments above. Wrong year, and what would this noblewoman be doing on a battlefied anyway, out in the middle of the desert?

Wondering why this still hasn't been removed; a fascinating notion but hard to believe.

Thanks!
