Elizabeth Eleanor Brown / Poynings (Grey) - Odd marriage to Sir George Browne?

Looking at the dates of birth and death for Elizabeth Eleanor Grey and George Browne, it looks a it wonky.

Eleanor was born in 1393. She would have been 46 years old when George was born in 1439. George would have been 9 years old in 1448 when Elizabeth died.

It is hard to see how they could have gotten 5 children.

What am I missing?

I could find no substantial evidence that the George born in 1448 was her husband. I split them apart. Incidentally, she was apparently married to a George Brown.

I found many family trees with only one parent for Sir Matthew Browne, of Betchworth Castle, and his father is named George born in 1448, but there is no evidence of a mother.
