How very cool! Mary is my 16Xremoved great aunt; her sister, Margaret of Douglas, was my ancestress through my great-great-great grandfather, James Nesbitt Wallace.

This links are fascinating. Years ago -- before internet and these genealogy sites -- my grandmother and my mother-in-law deterined they were distant cousins via past Wallace-Crawford links.

My daughter (Alexa Elaine Magnon) 19th great grandmother. Her father (Peter Dalrymple Magnon) 18th great grandmother. His mother (Linda Dalrymple Elliot) 17th great grandmother. All this information is quite fascinating. My daughter's class project turned into a hobby for me. They too have ties to Crawford and Wallace surnames in their trees

It is great meeting cousins, even distant ones.

It seems thus far, her being my 16th great grandmother, I am the the closest relative so far to compare. There must be someone else that can establish a closer connection.

17th great grand mother, Cunningham > Douglas > Stewart. But I expect I will have multiple paths to Robert lll & Annabella Drummond.
