unknown father of Robert White of Messing - Why can't people READ????????

While I'm on the subject of bad connections, will somebody please REMOVE John White and William White, the elder from this tree?

Robert White, of Messing *may* have had one or more brothers, but he never mentioned them - not even in his will - so we have no possible way of finding out.

The brothers have been disconnected.

Thanks, Erica. I suspect they were implants from the Farnham/Hutton tree. Have identified the "Unknown" parents and grandparents as Essex folk, which in all probability they were. That limits the likelihood of any more confusion with any line but White of Hutton.

Have resettled the castoffs as sons of Sir John White (Mayor of London), neither of whom had any offspring. It seemed the safest thing to do with them. :-)
