At the moment Geni shows no direct blood relationship between the two SV.PROGS' fathers:

But I presume you'd have to go back to the Carruthers' Scandinavian ancestor to find it.

It's a long shot that there is any connection - that Y DNA haplogroup will belong to millions and millions of men - but it still worth exploring the possibility.
