I see that her place of birth was listed as United States...and her birth date as 1892. That seemed on the early side for being born in the USA from the family from Altavilla that I have seen. I found her in the Illinois Deaths and Stillbirths index on FamilySearch and it says she was born in Altavilla.

I believe I also found a matching birth record in Altavilla.

Actual date of birth varies slightly, but given the time period that is common.

I never thought about it. I don't know where she was born. I always assumed she was born in Altavilla Milcia. I do know that she was living in Chicago at age 16 with her widowed mother, Maria Antonia Mucia (bucaro), when her mother married givovanni Batiste Oliveri and started having their own kids. When did Maria Antonia nee Bucaro Mucia Oliveri immigrate to this country?

I think she was definitely born in Altavilla from what I saw. I have updated the tree.

I don't think I have seen when Maria Antonia immigrated on any records yet...i don't think I have really looked though.
