There has been a bad merge. The other Person is

Christian Stewart

who is NOT the daughter of Robert Stewart, 1st Earl of Orkney.

The bad merge much be und one, the birth date corrected.
And mother, father, husband locked.

Well, who is responsible for correcting the bad merge?

Can it be proven Christian Mowat (Stewart) is NOT the daughter of Robert Stewart, 1st Earl of Orkney? Many documents show the opposite.

I can undo this merge, if that's the one you guys think is the cause:

But, I don't have the time to check the ramifications - So if someone wants to do that and prompt me when you need a Curator tool to help - I'm happy to unmerge.
But unless you guys have the time to untangle the bird nest, then it is better to wait for a Curator with a free couple of hours to follow the whole thing through.

Here is the information I have about Christians birth-date:

I suggest it is changed to 1565 if everyone agrees.

"Christian Stewart was born in 1565, at birth place, to Robert Stewart 1st Earl of Orkney and Jean (Lady Janet) Kennedy."

The info about John Mowat telles he was married with the daughter of Robert Stewart, 1st Earl of Orkney.

John Mowat was married to another Christian Stewart, daughter of Sir Robert Stewart of Tranquair. Alltogether I found 143 Christian Stewart on geni.com ..

As a little boy my brother used to ask our mother in the bus about the houses passing by "who live there ?" until she started answering "Olsen".
He already at this age recognized that this could not always be correct.
Ole and his son Olsen are very common Norse names. In analogon to this Christian, Robert, Stewart and Sinclair were very frequently used names in Orkney and Scotland, even today. So merging all is not a good idea.

But Christian Stewart's profile was MP'd quite some time ago by Richard at my request. Surely Ingegerd Holand shouldn't have been able to make any changes if he/she isn't a manager?
