Henry de Grey - Check birth date please

I think I know whom you mean, and it's a tossup whether she'd be helpful or ride a wild hare over a cliff.

Not to butt in but I saw your post and I check Ancestry as well. Most have this information. May want to as about place of birth and death as well as his mother. There seems to be no "valid" documentation as to who she was.

The early de Greys are rather sketchily documented, and in at least one case (Hawise de Grey and her children) it is known that *she* was the de Grey and that her husband, who was probably of lower rank, took her name. She may not have been unique in her time.
