As Abraham was never in South Africa i am of the opinion that the designation of SV/Prog is not correct.

Peter Dennis...Gone fishing! you are correct. I read the article and page in the book Abrahm C Cuyler Biography and he was born in Albany, USA and died in Yorkfield, Canada, A city founded by him.
Fully agree with both of you, but shouldn't his son, Jacob Glen Cuyler, then bear the SV/Prog title? (I don't know enough about them to make this call or even contribute further.)
