I have read he was hanged, then beheaded. I have not read that he was "drawn and quartered".
His body, along with other rebels, hung (in one piece I believe) for quite some time until the Augustinian Friars requested to give ecclesiastical burial to the rebels bodies.

For treason, the punishment was drawn and quartered, with the head displayed on a spike. But, makes me no never mind.
