Jane Martin dau. of Abigail Flanders & Stephen Flanders, II has a parent conflict, Dau. of Stephen Flanders (2) (Jr.); Wearne Dunstone; Abigail Carter and Ann Uren.

There is a merge Jane Flanders was merged into Jane Jane Flanders Mon at 7:20 AM

I will undo - merge and see if this removes the conflicting parents, the merge was done before Jon Arnon did a lot of changes, I hope it does not effect those.

This is listed in her 'About' section before the undo merge

John Martin Jr. of Amesbury married Jane Flanders at Amesbury on Jan. 18, 1711 (Salisbury, Mass. vital records)

She also has a husband John William Martin who was born 1717 after she was dead May 5, 1716, with child Hugh Ferguson Martin

First undo merge was not the problem, I will continue the undo merges until the conflict is removed, or there are no more possible undo merges.

It was Jane Martin was merged into Jane Jane Flanders Nov 11, 2015 at 8:57 PM that was the problem, Jane Martin who is Jane Dunstan

It also looks like John Martin, of Swansea has been wrongly merged as his death date is for the husband of Mercy Martin & Mercy Martin but his birth does not match.

The dau. Sarah Boomer Wife of Caleb Boomer has a parent conflict also, Daughter of John Martin, Jr., of Swansea; Jane Flanders and Mercy Thurber Stafford

10.3.2016 в 10:24 после полудня

The children connected to the mother Jane (Flanders) are John Martin, III & Jane Worthen & Sarah Boomer (Sarah with a conflict)

*'''John Martin, II
*'''Birth: Mar. 15, 1674 Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts, USA
*'''Death: Nov. 3, 1757 Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts, USA
*'''He married (1) MERCY HAYWARD 1701 in Rehoboth, MA. He married (2) MERCY THURBER April 4, 1713 in Rehoboth, MA.
*'''Vital records state date of death at 1759.
*'''He was of Rock River when he married Marcy Thurber''' and is not the John Martin of Rehoboth who married Mercy Billington. '''He resided in in Rehoboth, MA after his marriage where he resided until 1728 at which time he removed to Swansea where he died.
*'''There is a Martin House in Rehoboth that is a museum. It was built in 1728 by John Martin II. This plot of land had been the site of a previous house of his dad''', John Martyn /Martin that was burned by the Native Americans at the beginning of King Phillip's War. His dad, John, passed it to him. The farm originally included 100 acres of land. The Martin House is now closed due to lack of funds to keep it open. In this house is John Martyn/Martin's Bible and a staff he brought over from England.
*In one genealogical piece about the staff it states:: "He supposedly designated that it was to go from 1st son to 1st son. However, when his first son''' Malatiah died and Malatiah's first son, Daniel, was very ill, Hannah, Malatiah's wife changed the tradition."
*In the Snow-Estes Ancestry: The "staff which he willed to his son''' John, was also owned by Mr. Delancey Martin, but is now in The Martin House; it is a malacca stick, with an ivory head and silver band, on which is engraved the following monogram and date, "MM. 1728"." So this is open to wondering if it did indeed go to Malatiah and he put the date and initials on it. As John was dead before 1728. Further research should be done on this.

Thank you Carole!

I corrected another error: Jane (Jane) Martin was married to John Martin of Amesbury, not John Martin of Swansea.

11.3.2016 в 2:28 после полудня

Thank you Jon!

Removing Sarah Martin as wife of John Martin, of Swansea she is Sarah Wilmarth wife of Col. John Martin, Sr. of Rehoboth, Bristol, Mass. along with their children Robert Martin , Gideon Martin , Amos Martin , Gideon Martin & John Martin, Jr

Taking a break, my computer or the site is having difficulties loading pages.

I completed a requested merge that was incorrect. As I was correcting the error, I saw that in December Mary Jane Martin Jones was merged into Jane Martin Flanders. The merger also changed her data and deleted some profiles.

I unmerged the December 2016 merge; restored the data to its previous state; and undeleted three Flanders. I also removed John Martin from Swansea as her husband.
