Lucie Blackwell Goodman is/was my 5th great grandmother. Her husband, Benjamin Goodman, my 5th great grandfather. I have a copy of the Vestry Book of St. Peter's Parish, New Kent County, VA, which states that Benjamin and Lucie baptized their first-born son, Samuel, in 1701. What I haven't been able to find is proof of Benjamin's and Lucie's marriage. Using standard genealogy rules, that marriage should have occurred some time between 1698 and 1700. I'm hoping that one of you has been able to find proof of the marriage and is willing to share that proof with me.
