She married Robert Ebenezer Johnson, very soon after his arrival in Sydney. His parents and most of his siblings arrived earlier, on board LAYTON. One of the other passengers was an Elizabeth Byrne. It seems likely that this is the person he married, rather than the one born in Sydney in 1811.

I will make the adjustments in GENI to fix the tree.

I'm not sure if I replied already, if not I appreciate this. I do not know what I am doing in GENI, I'm afraid, and it seems to have picked up some erroneous information in places, perhaps my fault. I'll steer well clear until I have my info straight! Some of my info about antecedents come from an elderly cousin, since deceased, who I'm not sure always got the right end of the stick!
I do know my G-G-Grandmother Elizabeth Byrne Johnson died in England in 1891.

Robin Edward Roger Johnson, do you want to update Elizabeth Byrne Johnson with her death date and location?

I wonder when she went to England - and if any of her children / grandchildren went with her? Did she go to live there or was she just visiting? The avenues it opens up.

Sometimes on GENI, profiles can get a bit messed up - particularly with common names - and wrong profiles get merged together. If you come across any that look wrong, I can have a look at the revision history and what I can find - and together we'll see if we can fix it.

Discussions are great ways to record that something looks a bit off - I always try to add a second post and copy all the profile managers in - that way they will get a flag in their email/discussions and will prompt them to have a look.

Discussions are good in that people interested in the profile but not necessarily managers can also assist,
