Private User you linked tis profile to the remonstrance project but i cant work out which of the Issacs on the list he is.

Haven't looked at this issue yet but will do...... Am on the road for Christmas... Please keep looking for oversights and errors on my part... I can be sloppy sometimes :)

~ Have a happy holiday!

BTW What is your specific locale? Enjoy your summer! It's been -10 degrees F. at home in Vermont...

Looking at the de Forest profile.... I must have been thinking "Oh, Isaac is on the Castello map itself.. I'll include him in the project, steeping outside the boundary lines of who signed the Remonstrance."

Alex, DO you feel that this is acceptable...

On the "PRO" side: The association will draw more associative contacts across the New Netherland topics in general...

#'''Isaac de Foreest''' Had a brewery with others on Prince Straet (Beaver). Isaac DeForeest, Jesse's son, arrived from Leiden, Holland, March 5, 1637. Isaac made the voyage aboard the ship, Rensselaerwyck. This ship was jointly owned by Isaac's uncle, Gerard DeForest, and Killian Van Rensselaer. He was a tobacco farmer in Harlem.

(Castello Plan Project notes)

I'm in Perth, West Australia, today was quite pleasant 33 which was more comfortable than yesterday's 42 degrees C

I can't see why we'd add people to the remonstrance project who are not signatories to it, but i like nice specific project aims.

On a personal note (my probable by not proven line ) Dionys Isaacqs (Denys Isaacszen van Hartenvelt) was from Wijk bj Duurstede; and Ofaff Stevense van Cortland was too. Van Cortland was closely associated with the giant Killian Van Rensselaer...

My thought is that there may be so much going on here that does not meet the eye.
Even though "Dionys" was a blue-collar type of guy and seemingly a drinker (recorded as having stabbed a man in a NA tavern brawl), van Cortland did stand witness for his child in the DRC. My objective is to have a flag jump up with the de Forest family so that I'll remember to look into this topic some more later on...
