Yes, he's a duplicate of Thomas White of Somerset.

No, we are NOT sure that his father's name was Robert.

No, he was NOT related in any way shape or form to the Catholic Whites of the Home Counties.

No, there is NOT One Big White Family - there are *many*, and a lot of them aren't related to each other in any traceable way.

For that matter, NONE of the Somerset Whites were related to the Home Counties Whites, or the Whites of Nottinghamshire, or the Whites of Poole, or the Whites of York, etc.

And the West line that married into the Somerset Whites was proven by Y-DNA analysis NOT to belong to the de la Warr family. We *don't* know who Nicholas West, of Burton Nicholas West's father was, but he was *not* related to Leonard West and Barbara Gascoigne.
