There seems to be evidence that this Sarah Wilkinson born 28 Dec 1727 the daughter of James Wilkinson and Mary Dunham is the Sarah Wilkinson who married Isaac Tappan. Isaac was born 8 Sep 1721 the son of Abraham Tappan and Mary Stone. There are birth and marriage records that are consistent with this information. One of the interesting documents is from the NEHGS register for Births, Marriages, and Deaths in Woodbridge, New Jersey. On that document which includes marriages and births, there is the marriage of James Wilkinson and Mary Dunham and the birth of their daughter Sarah 28 December 1727. On the same page (two families down) is the family of Abraham Tappan and Mary Stone and includes their son Isaac born in 1721. The marriage record for Sarah Wilkinson and Isaac Tappan lists her father as James Wilkinson.
