Agnes Byrd - @Agnes Prewitt (Byrd) parents - confusion

I do not understand how @Lucy Byrd can be the mother of @Agnes Prewitt (Byrd) since Lucy was born in 1688 and Agnes was born in in 1695. I cannot find any documentation of Agnes's parents.

I think the answer to that is "wishful thinking" in associating the more humble Prewitt family with the powerful Byrds of Westover. !!!
