Hugh de Say, of Richard's Castle, 4th baron of Burford - Identity of his wife (or his mother) is suspect

I haven't looked into this beyond Geni yet, but it seems suspicious that he is shown as having married his biological mother's full sister.

Fixed. Eustachia de Say was not a Clifford. (Uncertain who her parents *were*, but not Cliffords.)

The Cliffords are a bit of a rats' nest in this area: Walter FitzRichard de Clifford, 1st Baron Clifford

Children all over the place, indicating either multiple marriages or barnacles.

By the way, the FitzHugh Says may have been "lords" of Burford, in the sense that they held the place and bossed the peasants around, but they weren't barons. MedLands has them under "Untitled".
