I also struggle with the documentation of:

where Jacob ben Matthan is mentioned as husband of Cleopatra (i.e. Cleopatra VIII)
Wikipedia mentions that this woman was married to another one

In the same way I have difficulties with the mentioned first wife of Jacob ben Mathan called Euchariah. I have not found anything yet that brings those two individuals together
