1. Abigail Stevens (Barnum) born after the death of her father Thomas Barnum
2. Abigail could not marry Nathaniel Stevens in 1687 if she was born in 1697
3. I have a relationship path link showing Abigail's husband as John Stevens, not Nathaniel
4. Nathaniel Stevens born after his marriage date

Have just looked up for reference in the Barnum Genealogy Vol1 by Patrick Warren Barnum, printed by Higginson publishing to validate. Pages 51 and 52 indicate:
1. Abigail Stevens (Barnum) was born in 1669 (no death date provided)
2. Abigail married Nathaniel Stevens in 1712. They had 8 children.
This doesn't logically make sense though as she would have been 42 years old at time of marriage. Rather unlikely. particularly if she had 8 children.

Thanks for your input. I think at least this does clear up her birth year (so the death yr of her father is wrong, then) & also that she did definitely Nathaniel Stevens, not a John as indicated in a path link I found. That's 2 out of 4 issues cleared up. Again, thank you. Can you please put those corrections in her profile? I cannot do that myself.

PS: I looked up her father's death date and now it makes sense w/her revised birth year so it can stand as is...her marriage date to Nathaniel, given in profile as 1687, now can make sense because she would have been 18. I believe the source given (now deleted) was a history of the Stevens family. So now the marriage date is definitely possible. That is 3 issues likely cleared up. I have yet to check on Nathaniel's birth date again to see abt the last issue.
