You are correct, whilst there are assumptive references, there don't appear to be any historical records of Muriel's parentage. That point is mentioned in the Curator's note in her MP (master Profile) when she points out that there is no reference to Muriel in the FMG (Foundation for Medieval Genealogy).
There are references in indexes with less pedigree such as http://www.michaelfamily.ch/getperson.php?personID=I23655&tree=... and that is the basis for what is in Geni now. This raises the question whether Geni should show unsubstantiated profiles in this way; perhaps we should start a discussion about it amongst the mediaeval experts that exists amongst Geni Curators?

Thanks for your response. I suspected this info would be unknown but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I do think that the 'About' section of profiles shouldn't contradict the rest of the profile but I'm unsure how you would resolve this issue. I will add that the Curator note made it clear the info was inaccurate but I just wanted to make sure that no new info had been found.

I would like to see her disconnected from parents as per the note.
