Some sources state Ann Woolley (Hancy) was convicted of a crime and sent to Tasmania where she remarried and later died. Others say Bathurst. Is there a death certificate or know place of burial.

Thanks

Hi Roderick,
What sources do you have for the conviction or marriage?
Leanne

Here is a link to Ann Hancy Ann Woolley, Free Settler "Minorca" 1801

The D/C for Ann Woolley who died in Bathurst gives her father's name as William, a Miner, mother Mary surname unknown. Informant Noah Woolley, Woolpack Inn, Bathurst.

Government record no. 373 states; 'Woolley Anne Minorca & Marian Watson Paramatta 18 Feby 1840 Transported for receiving Stolen property" 'TofL 28.4.43'.

Ann WOOLEY nee HANCY (daughter of William HANCY and Sarah MacDONALD) arrived in Australia at age 3 on 14/12/1801 on "Minorca"

She appears
* in the 1822 census as Ann WOOLLEY as came free
* in the 1825 census as Ann WOOLLEY as born in colony
* in the 1828 census as Ann WOOLLY as came free

On her Geni record she has a death date of 1834 at Parramatta (I don't know the source of this). Her youngest daughter Martha was born 5 July 1834 Parramatta

What information is on the death certificate in Bathurst? What relationship is Noah WOOLLEY to her?
