I am not sure exactly when, or by whom, but some changes were made to reflect Hendrik Adriaan Meintjes parents as: Barend and Martha Lubbe, with Barend Lubbe then connect to Johannes Meintjes as a son. Now unless someone has documentation to reflect some sort of fostering, and then a name change, this information is incorrect.
Hendrik Adriaan's Death Notice indicates that his parents were Hendrik Adriaan Meintjes and Maria Catharina Smit. The link to my tree was his daughter, also listed in his death notice, Anna Susanna. The rest of lineage should be correct: Hendrik Adriaan to Hendrik Adriaan to Johannes to Johan etc.
I am not able to correct this as the only option available to me is to manually add them all in again. Could someone who has perhaps Curator powers (Ja, I'm looking to you Sharon for some of your awesome magic again!) try to fix this?

Ja...not nice hey! It used to be okay, but I think there have been recent changes, probably over the last year, that have really messed things up.
As for the document, not sure why you are getting a blank on the sheet and I also can't see how to attach a copy of the page here. So, I have added the document under his profile under sources so that you can see the relevant information on his parents.
Hope this helps clarify, as I know all the other "references" are from MyHeritage Family trees. Whether this has back-up documents or whether these are based on assumptions, I don't know. I just know what his death notice says.
Hoping we can sort the mess it has become!

Hendrik Adriaan Meintjes ("Senior" as noted on death notice as he had a son by the same name)
His parents: Hendrik Adriaan Meintjes & Marie Catharina Smit
First marriage: 10.4.1791 Catharina Maria Naude (daughter of Stephanus Naudé & Elizabeth Johanna Smit, ≈ 4.3.1776)
Second marriage: Graaff-Reinet, Maria Magdalena Meyer, both are indicated on the death notice.
As for my lineage, this is what I have:

I should add, I do have a Lubbe in my lineage, but he is on the Vorster side of the family*, specifically in the Barend Johannes Vorster line. His mother was Elizabeth Bruyns Lubbe, daughter of Barend Lubbe (about 1671) and Jacoba Brandenburg (about 1675). They only appear once, where Johann Heinrich Meintjes and Christina Bastiaans appear three times in my lineage - oh the joys of a limited population!
