Hey. So, I've been searching for Sophie van Loon everywhere I can think of, and I've come across two husbands for her.
- Geza I.
- Heinrich von Schwalenberg (born abt 1040)

There seems to be plenty of info and sources for Geza. I can only find Heinrich in other people's trees that aren't sourced, mainly on my heritage and genealogieonline.
Just wondering if anyone can lead me in the right direction.
(Sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot, still getting my head around using Geni)
Thanks!

2 different Sofia’s, very well possible.

Each Sophie I find has the same parents - Emmo II. and Irmengard Suanhilde. All the info matches, just not the husbands.

On Geni, there are no parents for the Wife of Heinrich von Schwalenberg. Do we have the right sources about the two Sophie's being the same person?
Graf Heinrich von Schwalenberg

The profile of the Hungarian queen:
https://www.geni.com/people/Sophie-Zsófia-van-Loon-queen-consort-of...

looks like she had (had) another husband with 4 children? It could be Schwalenberg, but there are no names and it is also possible
that those 4 are children of Geza.

The parents I've found for Sophie are on my heritage and genealogieonline. Some profiles on my heritage show both husbands in the same profile. Very confusing.

Father for Heinrich von Schwalenberg -
Unknown von Schwalenberg (abt 1010)
His father - Widekind im Wetigau (abt 980 - 1031)
Widekind father - Hermann im Diemelland
Widekind mother - Frederun von Assel

Sophie herself is a bit iffy if you look at primary sources:

> The question remains whether Sophie´s supposed marriage to King Géza I is based on speculation, suggested by an as yet unidentified secondary source which was trying to make some sense of the passages in the Vita Arnulfi and the Vita Andreæ by identifying the most likely Hungarian king who could have been Sophie´s husband. Until further sources come to light, it has been decided to show Sophie de Looz in square brackets. Whatever the truth of the matter, the chronology of the births of King Géza´s older children suggests that their mother could not have been the Byzantine wife whom he married in [1066/75].
