I have uploaded a number of primary sources and transcripts of documents for him. On all the primary sources his name is only given as Daniel. In all the baptism records of his children, his name is also only given as Daniel. There is no primary source where he has the second name Johannes.
I also include his VOC documents, which state that he was from Hooge Zwaluwe, Noord Brabant, Nederland. Hooge Zwaluwe is a town name. I give more information on the following website, which is still a work in progress and will probably get a better URL one day: https://roodt.cluedapp.co.za
Would it also perhaps be possible to include a primary source (or verified and legit secondary source which indicates his exact date of birth? I have only been able to find his circa year of birth.
